Summary:-

  1. A meeting with delegates from University of East London, UK was convened to discuss and identify active areas of cooperation between both the universities, scholarships offered by the host university for the students , launching the customized fellowship programmes and internships for the students including joint research programmes.
  2. Mr Pavel Bawa gave a presentation about the various programmes at the University of East London during an interaction with Principals, Dean and TPO
  3. Mr Geet Kulkarni emphasized on various strategies to approach the application process for the UK Universities and also stated that UEL is UK’s leading varsity for basic and applied research in Computer Sciences
  4. The delegation was highly appreciative of the academic eco-system and infrastructure at the campus and was glad to note both varsities aim at working towards the common goal of making a difference to the lives of students and provide an international exposure .

  1. Dr Dipak Patil introduced the members to the students present for the seminar and also briefed them about their purpose of visit to our campus.
  2. Mr Manish Vig shared a detailed presentation wherein WORLD One Group expressed their delightment to provide the global Industrial short-term, hands-on, practical, experiential and application based skill based training/ Internship programs at Belarus for students of Engineering, Management and other disciplines.
  3. He also expressed his desire to handhold and assist Sandip Foundation students towards establishing long-term, mutually rewarding business collaborations / partnerships with leading Universities, Institutions in Belarus, specialized across faculties in Management, Engineering, Vocational & Technical Education.
  4. Students asked their various queries regarding accommodation, visa process, certification, duration of training period and cost of the summer internship at The Republic of Belarus.

  1. Dean International Affairs Dr Dipak Patil expressed pleasure to host the delegates from Ireland and held talks that were extremely fruitful aimed at further deepening bilateral cooperation in a wide range of sectors.
  2. Prof .Dr. Morris Cyril discussed with the authorities about the overall administration process of Athlone Institute of Technology, Ireland and his objective behind visiting the campus of Sandip group of Institutions.
  3. Dean International Affairs emphasized exploring the possibility of motivating our students to go to Athlone Institute of Technology to pursue their Master’s degree and also possibility of a Summer School fellowship program in the area of Civil
  4. Engg, AI(Artificial Intelligence), IOT(Internet of Things) & ML(Machine Learning).
  5. Delegates from Ireland also held bilateral meetings with Deans & Heads of various schools and departments and insisted on research collaboration for exploring joint research & PhD programs and invited them to visit AIT.

  1. A meeting with delegates from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden was convened to discuss ways for producing and developing Compaction and Concrete placement equipment for global market through international student recruitment program.
  2. Dr Dipak Patil briefed the delegates regarding the overall administration process of Sandip Foundation as well as Sandip University and also emphasized that steps must be taken in order to bridge the gap between industry requirements & students.
  3. Prof Hadi Zarshamfar opined that the program will focus on the ways and means to attract students who will be graduating in 2020 and would be interested to move to Chalmers University, Sweden for completing Master’s and after the course they would be entitled to do internships, master thesis at Husqvarna Sweden factory and on successful completion, possible employment in Nashik factory.
  4. The delegates also held bilateral meeting with heads, deans of various departments and exchanged willingness to enhance International collaborations.

Summary:-

1) Dean International Affairs Dr. Dipak Patil accompanied by the Principals & Deans of all Engineering & Polytechnic institutes of Sandip Foundation as well as Sandip University held a “very positive and productive” meeting with the delegates from Germany and both sides vowed to work closely in order to enhance bilateral cooperation.

2) Prof .Dr.-Ing. Gerd Moeckel discussed with the authorities about the overall administration process of the SRH University Heidelberg, Germany.

3) Dean International Affairs emphasized that relationships and strong networks were important in securing internships and jobs overseas hence students should make friends beyond the Indian Community and also noted that students would get 18 months visa extension after completion of their degree in Germany till the time they get placement.

4) Delegates from Germany also held bilateral meetings with Dean School of Computer Science from Sandip University and Head of Computer Department from SIEM and insisted on research collaboration and invited them to visit SRH University Heidelberg.

5) The guidance given by Mr. Vishnu Jaitly was professional and comprehensive covering all aspects.
